Just curious. Do you guys have it?
I really have bad luck when it comes to dental health. Already spent fortunes since childhood. Now at age 51 going for implants #3 and #4.
Yesterday at the hygienist I was suggested to take dental insurance. It seems a good deal: 16.9 eur/month. Already with only 2 professional cleanings a year, it more than pays itself back.
Where do you stand on dental insurance?
Additional dental insurance - do you have it?

I don't have supplemental. I get 3 cleanings/year for free because I have gum disease.
How long do you have to wait to use the insurance after you sign up?

Good question.
I didn't check it up, but the hygienist yesterday told me there is zero waiting time.

Hi
It's OK if you prefer to not share this info but is it paradonthitis?
I have it and my dentist said I can make just two treatments per year for 2 years in a row. Then I hand to wait 2 years before the insurance can cove4 again the same cycle of deep cleaning

Yes, that's what it is.
My dentist told me I get 3 cleanings per year. I'm in my 2nd year since she told me that. Not sure if it is finished after 2 years but I will find out.

Re: Additional dental insurance - do you have it?
Yes I have it via Getsafe... and I'm not impressed. It costs me €24 per month; aged 59 but with all my original teeth still

So maybe I am biased against them, but I also checked with Ottonova (more expensive) and Feather. Not sure I'll continue to have extra dental insurance if it turns out root canal isn't covered. I've had it 3 years and only used it for 1 x hygienist treatment per year.
Curious about others experiences too....
