Magic Eraser/Schmutzradierer

Post by Feierabend »

I've often read comments singing the praises of Magic Erasers, and it seems that Schmutzradierer are the equivalent here. So I bought a pack from Rossmann yesterday, Domol brand.
Just tried them out with high hopes on various scuffs on walls from moving furniture around, and marks on light coloured shoes, leather and suede. Totally disappointed, marks did not budge. :( So perhaps the wrong sort of mark, or is this product just not the same? Any experience?

I find the knockoff brands don’t do the job and use only the Meister Proper, the original, and they cost more of course. But I use them sparingly anyway.

Thanks, I'll try them. It won't break the bank!
The scuffs aren't big and am trying to avoid repainting the whole stairwell wall which is high, and retouching may make matters worse.

Try and not let bits get into a sink. Excellent for some cleaning, but pretty crap in water supply. So try to vacuum, sweep up any debris and put in black bin.
