Naturalisation Application

I have been living in Oberursel for 9 years. I want to apply for German citizenship by naturalisation. Is there an application online or should I get a hard copy from Ausländerbehörde in Bad Homburg? Also, do they test your German language skills in the interview before clearing your application? Many thanks.

And consider that if you can't do that search, your German language skills might not be ready for it.

You need to contact your local Ausländerbehörde:

B1 German is required:

If you don't have a B1 or higher certificate, it's possible the Ausländerbehörde may evaluate your language level during your meeting. You can ask them. I would recommend getting a Goethe or TELC certificate.

Thank you both. I do have a B1 certificate and passed the Einbergurung test. I also have permanent residence.
