We are paying a mortgage for an apartment in which we live in Munich.
Now there is an idea to upgrade and buy a townhouse, again with a mortgage being involved.
I've heard, but I am not sure of details so I am asking here, if it would be possible to put current mortgage into another one in order to buy a bigger home. In a way like swapping a smaller home for a new bigger one. Does anybody have any idea what that would be, what to ask about in a bank?
