I would like to sell my car and a friend wants to buy with majority bank transfer and partially cash (2k). We will complete a sales contract with this information.
Any cause for concern or is this an acceptable form of payment?

Re: Accepting cash when selling a car.
It's not a problem.
From 2026, for sales that involve at least one business, cash payments of over 10,000€ will be prohibited: https://curentis.com/en/anti-financial- ... -000-euro/
But that wouldn't apply to you anyway, since it is a sale between 2 private persons, i.e. not B2C but C2C and even if it had been B2C, it would have been under the 10k€ limit.
