Do you remember GeoCities?
This was one of the first places to offer free web space for the masses, opened in 1994.
It had a lot of content (with varying quality, of course), but faded away eventually. It's gone today.
When other people have nostalgic moments, they look through old photo albums.
I, on the other hand, take a look at this web site.
Somebody managed to save a lot of old content from geocities and the aforementioned page provides random screenshots of geocities pages long gone.
Stuff like this…
… looks so incredibly old, but was just created 30 years (or less) ago.
Time flies... But looking at stuff like this makes me smile...

This is probably only funny when you are a fan of the movie "Pulp fiction". Nevertheless, it made me smile...

An article from today‘s Guardian about penises on a medieval tapestry. Much more fun to read than most of the news of the day.
Laugh thread? Smile thread? Cheered me up not knowing which one to choose.

Re: What made you smile today? :)
Not long gotten out of the bath - Saturday evening is a shared tub experience in our house.
So, I´m already out and clean, and I left Mr Man to get himself clean and sorted .
Well, here I am, sat at the computer, with the bathroom on the other side of the wall behind me, if you see? And I started hearing strange sort of grunting noises..... I just peeked back into the bathroom, and Mr Man is fast asleep in the tub, snoring his head off!
It made me smile!!!
