Re: Toytown meeting in April 2025
I think we need to have another hTTi meetup to celebrate the occasions. I'd like to pick your brains for a good date back here and then post it publicly.
Of course, it will be in Munich and everyone is welcome to come from far and wide.
I know that Janx will be performing daily from March 13-23 so would need to be outside those dates.
Any suggestions?

I'm thinking about an Indian very close to Marienplatz SBahn station. Any feedback on doing it on a Saturday or Sunday?

Re: Toytown meeting in April 2025
OK. Time to get things rolling. How about we meet in the center of Munich on April 27? I have an Indian restaurant in mind, Garam Masala, which is only a 4 minute walk from the train station at Marienplatz. Should the weather be optimal, we can change to an outdoor venue. I'm thinking a late lunch around 14:00 or so.
Feedback welcome.
I need to know if there is any interest and there is enough time to plan a trip if necessary. Who is interested? Please put your name here.

I took the liberty to move this conversation to a more visible place on this forum.Fraufruit wrote: ↑Tue Mar 04, 2025 3:52 pm OK. Time to get things rolling. Re: Toytown meeting in April 2025
I'd like to point out that I ain't no hotel operator/hostel owner, but...
I have a sofa/couch in the living room where one can doss/crash/sleep comfortably for a night. It is not the Hilton or the Savoy, that's for sure, but it is there...
I have to assume that various other hTTi members from the Munich area or nearby might be in similar situations.
Only those who have the guts to ask will get answers...

Re: Toytown meeting in April 2025
I don't have an extra bed to offer unless Himself would be out of town but I would be willing to help sponsor a hotel room for someone if it would make it possible for them to come. We are family here or at least that's how I feel.
We can arrange on the down low via PM if anyone is interested. If you don't ask for what you want/need, you won't get it. My life motto.
Edited to add - If anyone wants to come on Sat. and leave on Sun., I'm sure we can meet up for dinner on Sat. as well. Just let me know.

No train tickets necessary here (living near Harras, Munich - U6 SUV at the moment) but I can't be 100% certain to be able to attend due to - well -.shite happening.
But I'll try my very best!
