Full Moon Sensitivity

Post by Robinson100 »

Okay, so my boyfriend has a real issue with being sensitive to the up-coming full moon.
In roughly the seven days before a full moon, he is like a bear with a sore head - grumpy as hell, and whatever you do, it just isn´t good enough,
y´know?
And as soon as the full moon is there, he is as peaceful as a lamb!

I was wondering if any of you also know people like this?
And if so, is there any "cure" for it?

1 of my sister in laws is like this but it´s only for 3 or 4 days before the full moon.
And the answer seems to be no, doesn´t seem to be anything you can do about it.

I used to have such symtoms with my monthly but never considered the phase of the moon. It was surely hormonal.

I looked it up but most "cures" had to do with woo woo astrology stuff. OTOH, if one believes in such things, it might help.

I think it's referred to as Lycanthropy. Usually silver charms, an exorcism or killing the witch who caused it are known cures.

Sorry Rob, couldn't resist.

Yup, my brother in law has suffered from the phase of the moon thing for years. He used to drink to deal with it, which is clearly not a useful thing. I don't think he's found anything sensible, I'm sorry.

Maybe if he finds a meditative/exercise thing which suits him, that might help during the difficult days.

- since you´d probably find that I am the witch, we won´t be taking that route!!! ;)
