And as much as they hate Tr**p they can not stomach Biden at this point. I am extremely disappointed in Biden for not having handed the reins over to a younger generation as he “promised” to do.
I don't disagree about being disappointed. The problem is we don't know what the insiders knew at the time they were making the decision on who ought to run.

The disengaged voters might not turn out, but they lean Trump, especially young people. Go figure. It's bizarro world. My point is ENGAGED voters as a block know what is real and what is not, and Biden is stronger with them. Whether the difference will help in the swing states, we will see.
Young people in Georgia voted Biden by a 20% margin and earned him the win in that historically red state in 2020.

Think about polls:

Who has a land line? Old, conservative people.
Who answers calls from unknown numbers? Dumb, trusting people and old people.
Who does not like having actual speaking phone calls? Young people.

Ignore the polls until October.

Who didn't see this coming?
Donald Trump’s lawyers on Monday asked the New York judge who presided over his hush money trial to set aside his conviction and delay his sentencing, scheduled for next week.

With the new Supreme Court ruling, this is not that farfetched.

Even good lawyers couldn't turn something he did before he was president into an official act...and Trump never has good lawyers.

"Prosecutors file sealed brief detailing allegations against Trump in election interference case"

WASHINGTON (AP) — Special counsel Jack Smith on Thursday filed, under seal, a legal brief that prosecutors have said would contain sensitive and previously unseen evidence in the case charging former President Donald Trump with plotting to overturn the 2020 election he lost.

The brief, submitted over the Trump team’s objections, is aimed at defending a revised and stripped-down indictment that prosecutors filed last month to comply with a Supreme Court ruling that conferred broad immunity on former presidents.

Prosecutors said earlier this month that they intended to present a “detailed factual proffer,” including multiple exhibits and excerpts of grand jury testimony, to U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan in hopes of persuading her that the remaining allegations in the new indictment should not be dismissed and should continue to be part of the case.
...
Though the brief is not currently accessible to the public, prosecutors have said they intend to file a redacted version that could be made available later, raising the prospect that previously unseen allegations from the case could become public in the final weeks before the November election.

I’ll like to believe this will make a difference at this late hour, but time shall tell. In the meantime, walks in nature keep me grounded. ☮️
