Since Monday, I have been affected by significant transport disruption on both trams and trains. Due to a donor conference for Ukraine. But why?

Re: Significant transport disruption in Berlin
Because a couple of areas were declared "Safety zones" so no cars are allowed there during some hours of the day, not even pedestrians and the trains can't stop there and they can pass through only when they are allowed and they have to drive at snail speeds.

Re: Significant transport disruption in Berlin
I remember sitting in the tram in The Hague when president Clinton was in town for 2 days. Traffic was a mess. We had to wait since 45 American cars were driving by in convoy. The cars were flown in before.
The tram driver announced:”Thank God he is not on holiday here.”
