I’ve a small garden and despite needing to cut costs as much s possible just now,…….wild bird food has stayed essential. Especially at this time of year. I’ve fed them all year for many years, not quitting now at such an important time of year.

So many BABIES! Such a delight to see….from sparrows, blue tits, starlings, to…. wood pigeons, woodpeckers, magpies, crow….babies fed by their parents. 😊

Yeah, that’s In Texas (area code 903). I grew up in Louisiana, and you can pick up fish bait at the gas station or the restaurant when you‘re out in the boonies, or on you‘re way there. It’s one-stop shopping. My grandfather from New Iberia was a fisherman. I guess as a kid I never pondered how strange or disgusting that could sound.

Putin dies and goes to hell. One day the devil allows him a day back on earth.

Putin goes to a bar in Moscow. He orders a drink and asks the bartender:

"Is Crimea ours?"

"yes"

"Donbass?"

"Thats also ours"

"Kyiv?"

"Ours"

Putin is happy and prepares to go back to hell, so he asks the bartender:

"How much do I owe you?"

"5 euros"

I’m still clearing my mum’s house after she died. This made me smile today that she’d kept the toilet roll holder with toilet roll over 30 years after she’d had the outbuilding toilet removed. Looks like modern art! Feel like it needs a caption!

My Oma told me that before WW2, this was the only toilet for an 8 person household. As I kid, I remember my Opa marching out there with his pipe and newspaper for private throne time. By then of course, there was an indoor bathroom.

Any caption ideas? 😊

Well, that set-up was superior to the dung hill we had to use in my gran's farmyard!
I survived various combinations of outdoor loos, pots under the bed and Plumpsklo at one school arrangements for years of childhood. I think handwashing was minimal. Strangely, we were hardly ever ill. The nowadays horror- concept of the flush plume would have sounded like a luxury phenomenon!

Thinking about last night makes me smile. We had Chornacht in Konstanz and I sang with both of my choirs for nearly a total of 2.5 hours. Hey Jude was awesome. :D My grandchildren, 6 and 9, are here visiting us for 6 weeks. They attended and loved watching Oma sing! We were all dripping with sweat but still having so much fun. It's approaching 38 degrees C today, which is 100 for me! OMG! Stay hydrated folks. :D
Opa and the kids just came back from the Getränkemarkt with more provisions.
