Re: Heating oil usage

Right. This will be helpful. I'll be watching it over the next month to see where the gauge sits. Viessmann has all manuals only, maybe this help: https://vibooks.viessmann-climatesolutions.com/de/de Calling a guy to come around to clean the burner and the injectors cannot be bad either. Expect wee...

Re: Heating oil usage

Here's a decal scale on the tank. More soon. Between 10cm and 140cm, you have a linear connection between the reading of gauge and the volume. It is 7,2l/cm for 1 tank, and 28,8l/cm for all 4 tanks. The results you presented are a change of 10cm on all tanks, which means you've used 288l of oil in ...

Re: Heating oil usage

Last night I looked at the control panel and saw two buttons. Reading the user manual, it seems there is a button for warm water only and a separate one for heating and warm water. The later was on, so I pressed the warm water only. This solves only a part of the problem. Again, unless I am misunder...

Can you take a picture of the tank, incl. the scale/gauge you're reading from, and post it here?

Re: Heating oil usage

Whatever the actual problem is, lowering the water temperature is a good idea. 55 is supposed to be ok re avoiding Legionella, though in summer I go lower, as our system is very small. I very occasionally want a hot bath, so just whack it up I looked at the system a couple of hours ago. It showed a...

What are these numbers? Percent? Cm height? Liter?
From what I've read online, it's percentage of what's left in each tank from 1000l.

Heating oil usage

Right, question for the hivemind. We've moved house and into a single family place. The house has four oil tanks in the cellar. At move in, we noted the tanks read, 38, 38, 36 and 34. These are 1000l tanks. We did not physically move in until the first week of May. Albeit she did. I was still workin...

You may have the same situation or the S/N is programmed into the chip in a way that the get-wmiobject function can't access.
I have used CPUID for years. Shows everything needed to include the S/N for the RAM.

Re: Current computer prices, especially memory and GPU-chips

Even with serial numbers, though, how many of us write down the serial numbers for our memory modules? I know I never have. If it is programmed into the chip, you may be able to get the serial number in a powershell session with this command: Get-WmiObject Win32_PhysicalMemory I just the line above...

Re: Wohngeld and Renting a fully furnished 1 room apartment

Good day to all you people out there. I have been living and renting a fully furnished 4o sq meter apartment for the past 6 years. I pay my Vermieter 600 euros every month in cash to sidestep the tax issue for her.I have no written contract. Apparently I can appy for Wohngeld once I get to below th...

Business, taxes, moving and a question

Right, we're flittin... moving house and I've shut down the workshop.... somewhat. I'll make this concise. I still have a few orders to fulfil before we move. I've not yet deregistered my business with the city nor with the HWK. The removal company will arrive on 29 May to pack us out. My concern: I...

Re: Italian maths?

Why this again? You just claim the end price, those 69.41€ as your business expense and that's it. How the Italian tannery reached that amount is not yours to question. The Italian tax department may send the Guardia di Finanza if they did evade tax, but that's not your problem. Panda, you as an ed...

Re: Strange maths....

Ok, I get it. I should simply ignore it... but my organised brain can't tolerate it. To me it's akin to someone saying 5+5 = 7. I have an innate need to understand this. Invoice from Spain: Subtotal: 161.13 Paypay fee: 6.89 Shipping: 11,00 21% VAT: 37,59 Total: 216.61 The maths work! I lose no sleep...

Italian maths?

Let's see what the Hive-mind has to say on this.... Doing my taxes.... never a dull moment. Learned a tonne from our wonderful Panda. I have one business I use a good amount each year from Italy. A tannery to be exact. Each time I receive their invoice, my head spins. I cannae get it round their mat...
