Re: Amazon Fresh ceases to deliver [in the Munich area] in Germany

My local Edeka has good deals on beer every week. There is always 1-2 brands for Helles on sale and 1 brand of Weißbier. I typically save 6 to 8 Euros on a crate. I don’t think that Getränkedienste offer this as well, but I might be wrong. I’m not willing to pay €20 for a crate of beer.

I have no car as well, but I own a bike. I put the crate on the back 😉. The only thing is that I live on the 3rd floor without an elevator.

IMG_5917.jpeg We have many workers in one of the apartments which is completely being renovated for some weeks now. My neighbour below put on a sign in different languages about the house door. The last sentence is hilarious „Du nix lassen auf Tür! Sonst kommen böse Mann. Wenn Du machen Du zahlen!“

Re: Transportaton research - Women and Finta community

Remembers me of a business trip to Dubai. I was waiting outside my apartment trying to get a taxi. A female taxi driver was driving around the block. I tried to get this taxi, but she didn‘t stop when I waived her. After she drove like 3 rounds around the block and I waived the whole time, she brief...

Exactly. My doctor told me to drink at least 3 liters of liquid per day when it’s hot. A Mass is already 1 liter. Use your common sense.

I don’t mind bicycles in a bag in a train, but people carrying cellos in ridiculous large cases on a train is another story 👻. They occupy an extra seat since it can’t be stored elsewhere.

Re: Private vs Public Health Insurance

A younger colleague of mine got private insurance, but later in life he became a father of two children. They are not automatically co-insured like with public insurance. He pays €180 per kid extra per month. The financial gain he got with private insurance was undone, so when you take private insur...

Re: Private vs Public Health Insurance

The waiting time for privately insured patients is definitely shorter than publicly insured. A girl-friend of mine has private insurance and is often seen within a couple of days. She visits several specialists on a regular basis. Basically, they squeeze her in it seems. She also has her blood teste...

Re: Where to dispose the Insurance Crd/Credit Card etc.?

I usually cut up my cards into lots of small pieces, especially the parts with name and numbers on, and put pieces in different rubbish bins - some will be in the bins at home, whilst some will be at work, or at the bus stop, or wherever. Wow, that‘s very thorough. I was just reading that you can t...
