UK man, mid-60s, returning to Germany after 20 years abroad : generally getting blocked by rules and regs; normal private KV is just too much for me; Im about to marry a German woman; but I was wanting to work n(have a job waiting). Income has to be tiny, about 600e, to go on my wife's KV.
A tangled nightmar. Please have a chat, anyone with similar situation and/or experience...!

Have you ever paid into a German public health insurance?

Thats what Im trying to get information about that right now; through the AoK (I think it must have been) because I have absolutely zero real info about it. I had a business, I paid taxes (I even go support at one point) - and I think I was employed.....
