Bundesbank Reporting - Transfer of Money UK to DE

Morning all,
We have just sold our house in the UK and now need to transfer the funds (approx €150k in total) from TSB to Sparkasse. Can I confirm that I
DO NOT need to notify the Bundesbank as both accounts are in the same name?
Ive read all the info on their website and ive completely confused myself
I can only transfer approx €30k per day (due to restrictions on our TSB account) so again not sure if the €50k reporting limit applies.
Many thanks
Nicky

We moved ours over many years ago (2008), but at the time we simply asked our bank in Germany what to do, and they told us that transfers between our UK and German accounts didn't need reporting.
My suggestion is to talk to your Sparkasse before the move and see what they say.
They will probably need to know about the source of the money anyway as part of their anti-money-laundering duties, but if you tell them it is from the sale of your UK house then that will not be a problem.
https://www.finanztip.de/awv-meldepflicht/ seems to say the se same thing, and that you don't need to report it.
That said if you do want to report it, then the linked article has details of how to do so.
The reporting is only for statistical purposes, so if you choose to report it, I don't think there is any downside" as such.

This is true.

They will likely tell you that you need to report everything - as mine does when my UK pension arrives each 4 weeks & the online banking shows that I "must" inform the Bundesbank - which is not true for any amount under 50,000 Euro each day.

You don't need to report the transfers, but you have to report the earlier transaction, the 150k€ you got from the sale of the house, please see here:

So glad I asked now as I wasn’t aware of this! I’ll email them now and confirm the details of the sale.
