Greetings,
Can anyone recommend a tax advisor and/or financial planner for a dual American/German citizen?
I have done my own taxes in Germany since arriving in 2013, but am worried I might be missing out on deductions or other possibilities to lower my tax burden. It would also be nice to have someone check if I have done my taxes correctly for both countries.
I also have some questions related to Social Security/Rentenversicherung as well as opening up investment accounts in Germany due to US Government regulations for foreign banks. I just looked through the old threads on this topic, but I'm hoping someone has new information or an update.
btw: I AM WILLING TO PAY FOR A CONSULTATION!
Best,
kgg

Re: Tax and investment advice for Americans
I have exactly the same question. I would like to pay someone with knowledge of both German and American tax law for advice and would be most grateful for a referral.
Thanks,
Alison Chaiken
