Unable to click on a link

I booked a hotel with booking.com. Then I got a pre check in link, but sadly it did not work. So what should I do? The link was 3 lines long and so typing it in my address bar does not appeal to me.
Thanks
Colin

OK, let's check this out...

The following is a long link to amazon for laddles, unclickable on purpose (for this demonstration):

Code: Select all

www.amazon.de/s?k=sch%C3%B6pfl%C3%B6ffel&crid=2S4XIBVIYP4U0&sprefix=sch%C3%B6pfl%C3%B6ffel%2Caps%2C114&ref=nb_sb_noss_1
Move the mouse so that your mouse cursor is before the "www", then press the left mouse button, keep it pressed, and move the mouse to the end of that link, after "noss_1".

Let the left mouse button go, the link you just marked should have a different color.

Now press "CTRL-C", that means, press CTRL, keep it pressed, and then additionaly press the "c" button. Let both buttons go.

Now, you've copied that link to your clipboard.

Open a new browser window, click into the address field, and press "CTRL-V" there. Then press <enter>.

You should now see an amazon web page showing their selection of laddles.

P.S.: On German keyboards, the CTRL-button is labeled "STRG".

I used hotel.com a good bit. Never pre-check in. Just do it when I get there. Room is already reserved. Just saying. Stayed in one Sat. night.
