Finding low-cost service provider to help with shipping via DHL

I am based in the US and working with a partner in Botswana on a very small side business importing women's fashions from Europe to Botswana. I would like to find someone in Germany who can help arrange occasional shipments (and associated paperwork) for small packages via DHL Germany, which offers much better rates than we can obtain on our own.

Does anyone have any advice on finding a person or a service provider we can work with? DHL has a major distribution center in Leipzig, so I'm hoping we can find someone there, but this work could be done anywhere.

Big name freight forwarders and logistics services are far too expensive. Mailboxes Etc. in Germany does not work with DHL. I have tried calling a few DHL Paketshops and other service providers I found online, but they either ring through to (inter?)national call centers or local voice response systems I have rarely been able to get past.

While this reeks, I give the OP the benefit of the doubt...

If there is no answer from the OP by the end of the week, I will lock this topic.

And I also would like to discourage anybody from even contemplating to take over that middle man job before the OP has clarified.

I sent you a private message pointing out that you seem to be accessing this forum from New York, and I suggested that you *could* post something in the “Member Introduction” section of this forum.

It's perfectly fine not to follow that suggestion, sure.

However, the business opportunity you propose raised some questions/“eyebrows"/"frowning", so to say.

Are you willing to clarify those concerns?
