After separating in 2023, me and my wife will submit individual tax returns for 2024.
We have a 2024 invoice from a craftsman that we would like to include in our tax return.
Can we:
1. Each enter 50% of the invoice on our individual tax return
2. Both enter 100% of the invoice on our individual tax return
3. One of us enter 100% of the invoice on our individual tax return

Options 1 or 3 are permitted.

Ha, I'm sure some people would try in the hope the tax office wouldn't ask for proof of the costs.
