three pretty crazy people (members of this forum) have decided that it would be a good idea to meet for a coffee next Sunday in Gilching (west of Munich, but very easy to reach with the S8 from Munich)...
But seriously, yes, coffee at 3pm on a Sunday.. Can you hear the bells?
To be precise, I am writing about 2024, Sep., 1st, 3pm, in Gilching, S-bahn-station (S8, station "Gilching-Argelsried") is 3 minutes away...
So, if you're interested, PM me and I'll send the details...

I`ll have to let you know on short notice - got a few things that absolutely have to be finished this week, and my computer was down for the best part of the last three days - only had a "window" of about an hour on Sunday morning when it was working......
Do we have a weather forecast for the weekend yet?

Exactly. My doctor told me to drink at least 3 liters of liquid per day when it’s hot. A Mass is already 1 liter. Use your common sense.

For those of you who watch what you eat and drink, here’s the final word on nutrition and health. It’s a relief to know the truth after all those conflicting nutritional studies.
* The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Brits.
* The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Brits.
* The Chinese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Brits.
* The Italians drink a lot of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Brits.
* The Germans drink a lot of beer and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than Brits.
CONCLUSION: Eat and drink what you like. Speaking English is apparently what kills you.

Dear guests, regulars, lunch guests, friends and others,
After 20 years at Lochhamer's / El Diablo, we regret to inform you that we will be closing in mid-May 2024. Our lease expires and the municipality of Gräfelfing is planning to renovate the building from summer 2024.
We have had many discussions with the municipality in the hope that we can still be there for you in the summer. Unfortunately without success, because the renovation work is really urgently needed.
In the meantime, we hope to see a large number of you there. There will definitely be a great farewell party and we will definitely still be there on Father's Day.
We would like to thank all our guests who have helped us to be successful over the last 20 years. We have also had difficult times, but we have overcome them all together with you.
Of course, special thanks go to our employees, who have reliably supported us over the last 20 years. None of this would have been possible without you.
With this in mind, we, the Oeding family, would like to thank you all and hope that you will join us for a wonderful finale here in the beautiful Würmtal.
