Welcome to hTTi, the humble abode for English-speaking people living in Germany.
It is an English-language community website for Germany.
It is an information resource, a meeting point, and a communication platform for
English-speakers throughout the country.
The heart of the site is the discussion forum where English-speakers can share news,
ask questions, post answers, organise sports and social events, discuss current affairs,
make friends, and generally engage with each other.
Who uses the site:
hTTi is read primarily by British, American, Canadian, Irish, Australian, New Zealander,
and South African citizens living in Germany. Anyone who can speak English to a native
standard, regardless of nationality, is welcome to read and take part.
This non-commercial website is run by former members of the discussion forum on
www.toytowngermany.com, which was shut down in February 2024.
If you are from Switzerland:
Englishforum.ch was shut down at the same time, a replacement was created by
former members and it can be found at https://swissforum.co.uk/.
