I asked local bird experts a while ago, where do the cranes from here usually migrate to. Seemingly from the tagged ones, northern Spain or southern France. I asked if their return is now quite early? The reply was that it’s very mild here. How do they know that from Spain/France? 🤔

Nothing much doing in Franken. Rainy and cold. I have some meatballs in tomato sauce on the stove. Life is fine.
