Flaconi (Online shop for after shave, perfume etc) has a discount of 12% with the discount code "STM-SUMMER", valid until 23.7.2024. Free shipping starts at 29€.
No need to register, you can order as guest.
Paying by credit card is possible, but if you would like to refrain from spreading your credit card info too much, paypal is doable aswell.
I've ordered from them before, this offer and this place is definitely not a fake/shill.

I just tried to place an order with them, Franklan, but when I signed in as a guest, I got a blank page. Tried again and got a blank page when I wanted to sign in as a guest. Darn! They do have a decent discount on some products that I need.
I guess I'll try again later. The website is user friendly.

It is unclear to me why Fraufruit had that technical problem, but I took the liberty to PM her and I ordered her stuff.
Did anybody else experience troubles with that web site? To me, it was a rather straight forward deal...

I wonder if the computer problem over the weekend was the reason you couldn't get going on the site. My daughter uses Flaconi a lot and is very happy with it.

I thought about that but I had no problems with anything else. Anyway, I now have people for that.

It was merely large companies and organisations affected. My customer was affected, but I had the day-off. Anyway, you shouldn’t do large updates on Fridays

Yes, it's over now.

I have it on price watch, that's how I knew when that time-limited deal was on, I got an e-mail from Keepa.com.
I use the free Amazon price watch service Keepa.com to alert me when the price falls under my limit of 17€.
You open a free account at Keepa.com and then just paste the Amazon URL of the item you're interested in, in this case:
https://www.amazon.de/-/en/gp/product/B07FKP4R63/
into the "Search" field on Keepa.com.
and presto:

Hi Panda,
thanks for the hint to that Amazon scrapper called "Keepa", I didn't know that one yet. Now that I do, I created an account with them and have already three items on the watchlist.
I was aware of
www.idealo.de, but not aware of a scrapper that does Amazon to the level that
Keepa does. Thanks for that!
My next level of automation is finding a way to alert me when stuff sold on "Amazon Fresh" is on sale. I haven't found a scrapper/alerter for that yet.

Never heard of Keepa either, Panda - did you just stumble across it, or something?

I used camelcamelcamel.com first:
https://de.camelcamelcamel.com/
but it had some problems a few years ago (which they have resolved in the meantime), so I googled "price watch Amazon" to find an alternative and that's how I found Keepa, which had even more functionality than camel.
Please see here for a comparison of the two:

Sipgate's Satellite app
Gives you 100 minutes of free phone calls to over 60 countries (see below for list), both landline and mobile, every month:
https://www.satellite.me/
Prerequisite: you need to have a data connection, either via wifi or mobile data.
What you need to do:
- install the app on your Android/iPhone smartphone
- give in your real name and address during the installation process
- you get a letter sent to your address (arrives within 2 to 3 days) with a code that you have to enter into the app
- now you can talk for free for 100 minutes every month to landline/mobile numbers in the countries on the list.
This also works the other way around, e.g. if you are on holiday in Mongolia, you can call Germany or any of the other countries on the list for free. Or you can call German numbers for free from Germany.
Please note that the Satellite app assigns you a second "virtual" German mobile number, so when you call people, they will see that new number.
You can also be called back on that number, in this case, your phone rings, just as if your normal mobile number had been called.
Yes, I know you can get unlimited free calls via, for example, WhatsApp, but for that, the recipient of the call also needs to have WhatsApp installed.
While here, you can call any old number, e.g. your elderly relatives who only have a landline.

For countries that aren't on the "Satellite app" list for the free 100 minutes, if you're calling from a Telekom landline, you can just use gold old call-by-call until the end of 2024, when it will be discontinued:
https://www-inside--digital-de.translat ... r_pto=wapp
Woopla's Durchwahl app
If you don't have a Telekom landline (or from 2025), there is also
Woopla's "Durchwahl" app for your smartphone:
https://durchwahl.app/
They charge through your mobile phone bill and the person you call sees your normal mobile number as the one calling them.
Though if you call a country often, a flat rate offered by your mobile/landline provider may work out cheaper.
To find out how much a minute costs in the "Durchwahl" app, first click on "In welche Länder kann ich mit Durchwahl telefonieren?" and then on the country you want to call.
Then enter the phone number you want to call and you will see the pricing.
There are some countries on the list that don't work at the moment, for example, if you try calling Moldova through the Durchwahl app, you will just get a recorded error message (their customer service said they will try to get service to Moldova restored, maybe in 2025. Though Moldova does work at the moment in Woopla's more expensive "Tariffic" app:
https://woop.la/tariffic/de/tarife/per- ... onieren-MD )

The Sipgate looks excellent. I have done it and am waiting for the postal code. Thank you for the tip, Panda.
Before having seen your post this afternoon, I had just started the process of getting mytello, which gives you super cheap calls (but not free) - it wasn't working at all, so I filled in their problem notification, and after a bit of backwards and forwards this afternoon, including a message at 8.30pm the problem is resolved and it works. Very impressive customer service. I have spent a fiver with them.
I would recommend mytello except that for most of us, Sipgate is probably plenty and is completely free
- If you think it's not sufficient, then maybe mytello is still worth a go.
That you posted about the exact thing I was trying to sort today did feel rather extraordinary. I should have checked Toyporn before I started
