This is it, 2:1 for England.
(The good news is that the English won't be leaving Gelsenkirchen in the same condition as they did when they visited in season 1944/1945)
So, it is Switzerland vs. England as the next step.

Re: Football, June 30 2024
The natives here seem convinced that Germany is the best team in the tournament. I reckon Spain have played the best football so far, and already beaten some good teams. Sadly, it is rarely the team which plays the nice football which wins the tournament....although that's good news for England (hopes on the adage: the best horse isn't the one which can jump the highest, but the one which keeps jumping high enough).
Usually the home team gets a few decisions its way, and although Germany were a bit fortunate against Denmark, I can just see them having some sort of outrageous good fortune to go through against the Spanish. That'd be it for Germany though, with an undeserving France v. England borefest for the final being my guess.
Whilst I was in the top 1000 against Pistor (https://allegegenpistorem.wdr2.de/preise.php) after the group stages, I've yet to get a single point in round two, so the above predications should be taken with a pinch of salt.

It was on Magenta. The last of the games to be exclusively on Magenta, so if you don't have it, you won't miss any more.
Austria were pretty dominant and had plenty of chances for most of the game and then lots of end to end stuff at the end.
Entertaining game, but Turkey will be unlikely to beat the Dutch in the next round though.

Turkey vs Austria had probably the best second half of the whole Euro until now. The Turkish goalkeeper did an incredible safe 30 seconds before the end of the game. At the end Austria really threw everything they had and the Turkish were fighting for survival, pretty emotional game.
