Same speech he's been giving for weeks outside of the courtroom and at his rallies. Yawn.
He said he will have a press conference this morning so more of the same. Unless he chickens out.

The planet where he is polling higher than Biden. Yeah. Unfortunately also the planet we are on.

As Dan Abrams, the ABC legal expert, stated:”What defendant would be foolish enough to trash talk the judge who now has full discretion in sentencing him!”
Dan added that there probably will be no jail time as this is Trump’s first (low grade) felony conviction - but he has to talk to a probation officer before the sentencing on July 11, 4 days before the Republican convention.
Imagine Trump campaigning with an ankle bracelet!
He’ll appeal, of course, and drag out things in true Trump fashion.

Another interesting thing:
T. has three other cases pending, two of which are federal (Jan 6 insurrection, removal of classified documents from White House).
If T. becomes Prez again , the Department of Justice can make the federal cases go away!
I didn’t know that was possible, and it saddens me.

He´s now more popular with his supporters than before.
We do like to take the piss out of Americans and their seemingly lack of intelligence but jesus h christ this almost elevation to god like by Trump supporters makes it look like we´ve been right all these years.

Yes, no intelligence among them. Good thing they aren't the majority.

Yeah, sadly you are not wrong. And we voted for a clown with silly hair as PM. I am much more circumspect in my jibing of our American friends since those two things.

And said clown was born in New York, home of The Don.

I wonder what future historians are going to make of all this - depending on whether freedom of speech is then still allowed. I won't be around (10-15 years from now) to witness any of it at my age (I'm 77, born 1947, 2 years after WW2 finished). Maybe that's a good thing (for me) considering all the recent worrisome upheavals worldwide. It's weird, democracy also allows for bad things to happen - it's own destruction.

I watched The Don‘s statement after the verdict and his Friday press conference. In both, he was angry and rambled off the cuff in the most disjointed way. Not a good look for the campaign trail.
Next update would be the sentencing on July 11. Stay tuned.

As an American, this is a difficult time indeed. Glad as one might be to observe that DJT got convicted and is now a felon, it is far from clear that he will not win the next Presidential election. He has a committed and energized base of supporters and many ordinary folks believe that the economy performed better under his leadership; a collective amnesia about the s*tshow during the Covid era helps. Biden is (even more) over-the-hill, uninspiring and muddled leader. Some on the left (myself included) hold him responsible to the genocide in progress, making their support unenthusiastic, which can translate into not voting. Black Americans, a traditional base for the Democrats, are definitely unenthusiastic and the Democrats have little chance if they do not turn out in high numbers.
In an ideal world, other trials should put DJT away for a long time and out of election but they going nowhere fast. With the Supreme Court of the US backing Trump / running interference for him at every step, it is not clear if the most serious Jan 11 trial will go anywhere. The Florida classified document case has a biased Trump favoring judge and isn't going to result in anything. The Georgia case might have been the best opportunity but has largely self-destructed because the DA could not keep personal relationship out of it. So, things look quite grim and it is by no means clear that we will not have Trump as the next President.
There is hope that independent or less committed GOP voters hesitate from voting for a felon but it is not likely to be a big enough factor to cover up the lack of enthusiasm for Biden. I hope the above proves wrong and we are spared another Trump presidency but am not confident.
