missed my 49 euro Bundesweit card payment

Hallo everyone. I am glad to be back.
So at the beginning of this month I missed my monthly direct debit payment of 49 euros for the nice Germany wide ticket. This was due to delays in payments arising from the long Easter break. So I went to to a customer sevice shop and expalained the situation. He took my card and my ID and did some stuff on the key board and said everything was OK. Yet when I check my bank account, I see the 49 euro for this month has still not been taken.
What should I do now?
Thanks
Colin

Perhaps they only take payments once a month, might take €98 on May 1.

I have a 49€ ticket, often the ticket inspector scans it, often they do not, I just wave it.

I would ask again, because you could be in trouble if it is not valid, you might have to pay €60 or more.

Thanks for the reply. I too think they might take a double payment at the beginning of May. But I will go to the customer service shop again, just to be really sure.

So I went back to the customer center and got it sorted. They will take a double payment on 2nd May. Plus a smal admin charge of about 7 euros.

What is the reasoning behind that admin 7 EUR charge?

If a scheduled withdrawal "bounces" because there isn't enough money in the account, many businesses will tag on an admin fee for their trouble of trying to run the withdrawal again.

Leon G is correct. I recently got a letter from BVG which explained why I had to pay a small admin charge.
