Lorreta Swift was best known as "Hot Lips" Houlihan from the TV show M.A.S.H. What a great name. Yet another very funny half hour comedy show from America: Where are they these days?
His music was played all over the world in the 60s and 70s....Good Vibrations and Californian Girls are often quoted in the top 50 best songs ever recorded. But he's in a better place now, he had been struggling with ill health for many years. RIP Brian Wilson.
Suppose, nobody else will remember him or care about him, if your not an older Brit.

I'm neither old (?) nor a Brit, but I remember him, especially after the Brighton bombings, poor man.

Donald Rose (110!) passed away. He was Britain’s oldest WWII veteran and also the oldest man in Britain. He fought in Northern Africa as a desert rat, fought in Italy and also took part in the D-Day landings. He received the French Legion of Honour: https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cqx2dl2nxdvo.amp
Trump will probably lower his new flags to half mast.

Laura Dehlmeyer died during a climbing accident in the Himalayan. She was 31.
She won 3 biathlon golds at the 2018 winter games.
I must be biased because I'm obsessed with mountains, outdoor endurance sport, and especially XC sking, but I really had a lot of sympathy for her.
