What was included in BethAnn's stay at Hotel Fraufruit-
One glass of mineral water.
Coffee.
Bed.
I can highly recommend her as a guest.

With amenities such as this, I'd well imagine the number of star ratings this hotel must have on Booking.com
Was an absolutely brilliant evening! A special appreciation to Panda and Franklan.
The rest of you lovely lot.... what an evening! Robinson, Janx, BethAnn, FrauFruit and Metall. I don't think anyone felt out of place. The chatting seemed endless like we've all known each other decades.
Train ride home was a right mess. No doing that again.

That photo looks like it was taken in the 80s
Both the grainy effect and the hair styles.
How did you manage that?

Nobody looked like I imagined them to be.
Metall took this photo with my camera, that's why she is not in the picture, and for privacy reasons, I obliterated other people's faces...
What a great evening...

Aşk me about it. My train trip to and from Berlin last year was so awful I’ll fly next time.

I blame it all on the € 49 tickets.
As it turns out, one does get what one pays for.

Sorry Franklan, but I think your camera is broken - we all look much better than that!!!

It was wonderful to finally meet everyone in person
A bit of historical background on café Luitpold, where we ended up for dessert, after the pizza at L'Osteria:

Their signature Luitpoldtorte with white wine cream:

There is a reason that the Luitpold is no. 1 on my map of Munich cafés

@Fraufruit
Café Maelu is no. 2 on my above map.

Just typical DB rubbish. Overly crowded train and a 90+ min ride with one WC... that didn't work. Oh, and arrived home much later than scheduled. the mere usual DB experience.
Next time it will be Hotel Hondo:

In overload situations, hotel "Death Metal" is available, too.

Sounds like our next meetup will be in Gilching then. That's not exactly what I meant when I recommended others to organize one somewhere else in Germany.

Sometimes you have to start off small, and grow from there.
Gilching sounds like a good idea to me as I can get there fairly easily!

Gilching sounds like a plan, haven’t been there in ages.
