I recently purchased a Probe BahnCard 25 Gold for 19,99€. I earned my money and more booking a trip to Berlin and back. Today I’m also traveling from Berlin to Leipzig and back for free, since DE won a gold medal yesterday. Whenever they win a gold I can travel anywhere in DE on the DB, even an ICE, for free! 
I won’t need the card once the 2 month period after purchase rolls over and I must pay the normal price monthly for the 25% Rabatt, but I have cancelled it already. I am happy about getting such a good deal. I love the trains and public trans here.
