No, you are right, my neighbours are fine I am also a major taker-in-of-packages. Once again it is a problem re my youngest child, in the new place. It is apartments and there is a ton of new neighbours, he does not know any of them. Well he knows (kind of) 2 now. Thanked them profusely, etc.
But this new DHL thing of making one unable to divert delivery to a Filiale is weird. He has registered to have all DHL to go to a particular place. And it worked for one I sent. But not the other. They do (helpfully) say on their FAQ that this does not always work. I just do not understand their reasoning. It saves the poor guy getting out the van, finding the package, traipsing up 2 flights (as someone else has helpfully buzzed them in), futilely ringing the bell, and then reurning to van, etc. Why change it?
To make this post relevant, what if he had ordered a washing machine from Amazon?
