Also crew member of Apollo 8.
I well remember the TV broadcasts over Christmas 1968. We did not own a TV at that time but back then grandmother & 2 aunts used to come on Christmas Eve to stay in our house for a few days & they would bring their (monochrome) TV with them.

German television will probably air that movie this week to honour her. Also, great music from Ennio Morricone. Recently, they showed plenty of Robert Redford movies.

John Lodge (Bass guitarist of The Moody Blues), aged 82. Was happily married 57 years which is good going in that environment.

The first 2 albums I ever bought were On the Threshold of a Dream & To Our Children's Children's Children (the mad music teacher at senior school kept playing these).

I am 6 or 7 years behind you in age I believe, and bought those albums across the pond 4 or 5 years after you. I was hooked on the MB. Incredibly beautiful music that somehow gave me hope I was gonna make it through those awkward teenage years.

I once saw them live in Hamburg & was dreadfully dissapointed - far too loud & sound quality poor.

IMHO - this is one of their best songs.

She was great. So soon after Patricia Routledge.
