C24 Bank €125 bonus

Post by murphaph »

Here is a great tip:
https://www.mydealz.de/deals/tarifcheck ... te-2366756

Basically it's a hack to bag yourself up to €125 for opening a C24 bank account and closing another account. Strictly speaking C24 wants you to close another Girokonto but it seems like they have no way of actually knowing what sort of account is closed!

I followed the tutorial and bagged the full €125 by signing up and closing a dormant Comdirect Tagesgeld that I never even used.

If you don't have the patience for the first part, that is setting yourself up in the Check 24 Partnerprogramm then feel free to just click my referal link below (full disclosure I will receive the referal bonus in that case!) but the second part is much easier. You just enter the C24FINTIP code into the C24 APP during the signup. You must then click on the "Kontoumzug" and follow the simple steps there. In my case the €75 cash for closing the Comdirect Tagesgeld was there in my C24 account within hours. Highly recommended :-) Easy money.

Little update...this also worked for my wife with an unused DKB Tagesgeld. She had the €75 within a couple of hours of closing the DKB account through Check24.

Maybe I am just too stupid for this, but I have set up an account with check 24.
Now I don´t know how to get to the offer, and to have it accepted - anybody care to point me in the right direction?

murphaph , gave a link

https://www.mydealz.de/deals/tarifcheck ... te-2366756

This seems to explain what you have to do

You can use a translator to get it into English, ie when you are on the page, right click and select translate to English, at least with Chrome.

I would try to follow that, maybe see any steps you missed.

Okay, so I spent two days trying this, and in the end I have a new bank account, but not bonus for opening it, or transferring an account over to it.
They would not accept an old Tagesgeld account, so I totally missed out there :-(

You don't set up a Check24 account. You need to set up a Check 24 Partner program account. That's their affiliate program. You then "send yourself" an affiliate link from the program and click on that to start setting up the C24 account. That's the more complicated bit and why I offered my own link (from which I would get the €50 commission!).

The easy bit is the C24FINTIP code. You can still enter that code into the app even if you forgot to do so when signing up (though the app asks you secifically if you have any discount codes to enter when you start setting it up).

You have to use the C24 umzugsservice from within the app to then move another random Tagesgeld or Girokonto to C24. That has worked for my Comdirekt Tagesgeld, even though C24 could not access the account as Commerzbank doesn't allow third party access and insists that customers explicitly close their own accounts from within the Commerzbank eco system. My wife closed a DKB Tagesgeld (but left everything else with DKB in place) and in that case it was possible to access DKB through the C24 Umzugsservice and close the account. In both cases the €75 was credited quickly to our C24 accounts so I'm sorry if it hasn't been clear or something has gone wrong for you Robinson :-(

No problem Murphaph - I seem to have actually done things correctly - even the partner thingy, but the problem is third party access to Consorsbank....... pity!!!

If Consorsbank does not allow 3rd party access then the C24 Umzugsservice should tell you that and ask you to close the account yourself on a specific date about 2 weeks in the future. Just click yes and say that you will do that. The 75€ should then just appear in your account within a day or two, even before the Consorsbank account is closed (because C24 has no way of knowing if the account was actually closed if Consorsbank doesn't allow third party access). If the thing is just "hanging", try doing it again later. If it still doesn't work you can reach out to the C24 Umzugsservice directly and tell them there's a problem and they should be able to manually intervene. Were you able to add the C24FINTIPP code successfully? Make sure that is done BEFORE proceeding with the C24 Umzug. It will not be possible to do it retrospectively but if your Umzug isn't "complete" it should still take the code (this happened to me too!) and apply it.

Thanks M.
Yes, the code is already visible on my bank account site - it is just the moving the account part that really isn´t working at the mo.
I`ll try it again tomorrow afternoon and see if it works then.
Thanks for your tips!
