Sold an item on Kleinanzeige, a bicycle fork. I packet it well, bought the postage / QR code online, making sure I selected exact size and weight, and took it to the nearest DHL where they happily accepted it.
Days later the buyer complained he's not got it yet.
Days later the item is returned to me, by DHL, they say "Sperrgutfrankierung fehlt".
Now, I'm telling you that I did buy the correct postage, just by entering correct weight and W L H size. But it could well be I'm wrong. But even if I'm wrong, the person at the DHL outlet took it, they accepted it with whatever postage I had, so after that should it not have been their full responsibility to delivery it to the final place? Well, apparently no.
Not happy.
Grumpy old Alberto

Re: Today's rant about whatever....
Well, maybe I am getting old and complaining a lot these days, but I have a pet topic at the moment - electricians!
Since the end of august we have had the local electricians (based about 100m away as the crow flies) coming and going and fitting solar panels to our roofs.
The final panels were fitted about ten days ago, and last Friday, when I just happened to bump into one of "them" I complained that the price I have already payed is an awful lot for the decoration we currently have on our roofs, and it would be wonderful if one of "them" would finally tie all the wires together so that it would work!
We had a couple of electricians in the house today, from about 7.30am, and mostly working in the cellar, where the battery and main dashboard is, so one would sort of assume that they are tying the cables together so they will work. But do we have our own electricity this evening? NO!!!
No way in this world would I recommend this company even to somebody I don´t like!!!!

Sorry for my very short replies at the moment; my health isn't good at all at the moment (among other issues).

Just I'm nosy: what made you decide to buy also a battery?
My story (already posted here many times):
PV installed 2019, ca 9kWp 13keur, produces 7kWh/yr, we consume ca 2.2kWh/yr (ca 1kWh/yr is from the PV, the rest 1.2kWh/yr from the grid, and the 6kWh/yr we don't directly use is sold to the grid of course).
After PV installation, armed with our own electricity data measured over 2yr at 5min interval, I could finally calculate to what extent a 10keur 10kWh battery would have lowered our electricity bill. Pity couldn't find quotation for smaller battery. It turned out the battery cost was several times what it would have saved in electricity bill over its lifetime. Decided not to buy one. I doubt battery will drop in price to the extend I will decide to buy one but you never know.
