I'll be moving to a new Wohnung on May 1 and Telekom will visit to connect the DSL on May 11. For the days in between I would like an unlimited mobile connection that I can use as a WiFi hotspot so I can work from home and also stream Netflix etc. I'd like a monthly contract that can be cancelled immediately and ideally no setup fee.
What's are my options, and do you have any recommendations?

Ok I just checked my mobile provider and I can get 20GB for 30 € which is extortionate, but no more expensive than other providers and has the benefit that I already have a connection with them.

In the period in between we moved to our new place, and we started to have our own wifi, we used the wifi of our neighbor. Of course we asked, and they were happy to grant it.
I guess it is not uncommon.
We didn't Netflix at the time but my wife worked a lot with video.

99 cents per day is also 30€ per month. If you go to check24, you can get a SIM card from MegaSIM with a similar deal, 15 Mbit/s unlimited for 26,99 per month without the 10€ activation fee but you are month to month while with freenet, you are day to day.
