What do you do on Saturday evening?

Post by Robinson100 »

Well, it is Saturday evening, and I had to work today 8 - 19
Now it seems that I am the only one around, and I have hTTi all to myself.
Where is everybody, and what are you doing?
Am I missing something here?

I catch up on emails, or if that's done then I watch a series or a film, generally on DVD, but sometimes online and then go to bed to read. Tonight it was the emails.

Are there lots of people who have not migrated across from the previous forum and that's why it's much quieter now?

Probably!
I suspect a lot of them never really shared their email address with other TTers, and so have sort of fallen through the cracks.............

I have to assume that a lot of people have "given up" the old forum when one couldn't post anymore (due to a software glitch concerning jscript).

Some of the old folks probably haven't realized yet that the old forum is gone completely now.

Also keep in mind that the old forum lost a hell of a lot of people due to the strange happenings around the covid time. And also due to some strange political opinions promoted on the old forum even before covid, I have to mention extreme right wing opinions concerning Trump and Brexit.

Some of them will come back eventually, and some won't. It is what it is.

As this substitute forum is mentioned on facebook, reddit and Wikipedia: It should be doable to find it, assuming one is actually searching for it.
