Re: Whats up in the South?
Way down here on the Bodensee we’ve had a week of sun. I spent the last several days organizing my hanging boxes on my front and back balconies and planting flowers. Now I can just start enjoying the fruit of my labor on a daily basis. I love this time of year. Love running back and forth to Toom and Obi on the E-bike with panniers too.

Approaching Innsbruck on the way home to Konstanz following a fun week in Südtirol. Hubby has a special birthday coming up and this trip, including a visit to Bozen and a meet and greet with Ötzi
, was on his wish list. I had fun getting about in Italy with German.

Re: Whats up in the South?
Hello you lovely people
I’m back tripping the boards. This time again, I’m playing the titular character:
… …
It’s all smiles now but murder most foul will soon change that!
…
Starts this Saturday in Westpark’s Theatron amphitheatre. No tickets needed. Bring a picnic and an umbrella for shade as well as showers.

Yeah, I know, the last pic is a spoiler but you should really read a synopsis first anyway. It's Shakespeare and no one understands a word (least of all the actors)

Wow!! We really enjoyed the whole performance and our very own JanxSpirit was magnificent!!!
Can highly recommend attending and bring some cushions or something to sit on. We remembered this year.

Re: Whats up in the South?
We are in Windpassing, Hauzenberg for year number 3 and another fun 2-week stay at the Bauernhof. The grandkids were very excited when a family from last year showed up again during our time here. Ir‘s a good 4-5 degrees cooler here than in Konstanz, and breezier as well. No complaints from Oma!

Re: Whats up in the South?
Well, it's been very hot way way down yonder again. The Bodensee is really dry. I went walking from 7:30-9 this morning with a friend to beat the heat. Afternoons are a bear, and when the 17 year old pooch needs a midday potty break I take him along the tree-lined streets and check the asphalt as necessary to see if he neeeds to be carried. He's happy to sonore the day away.
I hope all of you in other parts are managing well.

Re: Whats up in the South?
Gonna drop here gradually this coming week too. We head to Naxos, Greece for the annual family multigenerational beach vacation in a week. So, … it has been cooler there all summer than here, often not above 30. Hubby and I and hubby‘s brother from NY are all psyched, while the crew from
has to worry about thick beach towels and sweaters cuz they’re used to dry heat and 35-40 all summer in Yerevan.
