Changing is probably bad idea, because you may need to change back for some reason

I won't be changing back to the address Google has on file for me, as it's not even the most recent place I lived in the U.S. I'm willing to take the risk since inevitably other problems will arise if I don't.

I had bit trouble too as I remember payments setting change was key to get it done

Thanks, although I've read several such resources. I'm afraid that every time Android updates (yesterday for me), the instructions would have to change. I'll have a look anyway though.
