In 1987, I was sixteen years old and had just started in technical college. I was doing an apprenticeship and I had enough money to buy some records at last.
Me and one of my best friends convinced a local night-club that we were 18 and that we would host a goth/alternative night for them.
He told us that we could do Wednesday nights because no-one ever came out on a Wednesday so what did it matter.

This was the first song we played, there were 8 people in and I knew them all on a first name basis.

By the end of the night there might have been 12 or 13 people. This was more than usual (It was a small crappy place).

Over the next 2 years, we managed to make it a bit of a "Thing" with the local goth crowd and we were getting 40 or 50
people in on a Wednesday night.

By the end of it they totally knew we were underage, I got a birthday card from the manager for my 18th birthday :-).

Oh I miss being young and stupid, but this song brings it all back like yesterday.

Today is the 16th anniversary of my son's death. I've been a Linda fan forever and this one always brings tears to me eyes, especially on January 17th. But it soothes me too.

4 years ago today was the last day I spent with Bettina.
That night I sat up reading to her whilst Rumours played in the background. She was too out of it to know what was going on, but it helped me.

This seems to fill my mind on 14th Feb now.

Beautiful choice. May you find peace today. She couldn’t have had a kinder and more loving partner than you. ❤️

Birds just chirping away all over the place! Each day as I walk in the neighborhood the singing gets stronger, a sign of what's to come. It's beautiful. :D

I've been listening to a lot of 90's stuff recently.
Good memories of seeing all of them in Munich back in the day.

Metallica's third studio album 'Master of Puppets' was released today, exactly 40 years ago, on 3rd March 1986.
