Confusion with salaried gig/ taxes / KSK rules

Hi all. I've been a freelancer in Germany for the past ten years, never had regular employment. I've been a member of the KSK for most of the last ten years. During a recent work rut, I tried looking for other gigs, including registering a profile on a site for film extras. I've now actually been offered a one-day shoot, and I'd like to do it, but I am trying to err on the side of caution. The agency says in the booking that tax and social security deductions will be taken from the day's fee, but since I'm already in the KSK, will this confuse things with them? I'd like to take the work, but not if it risks my KSK status. Thanks for any clarification you might have!

As long as you earn more and work longer for your "artistic" activity than as an extra (Statist), then there's no problem.
