At least he´s in the right place to get him sorted out now.
Glad they already have a treatment plan in place and that things are moving along.

There was some pain a while ago and that is what took me to the doctor and then the scan. But since then , nothing. Many men do not go the the doctor when they should. I was like that when I was younger. Now I do not hesistate. Internet problems are obviously nothing in the grand scheme of things, especially compared to health issues etc.
However.... I have a non-update.
As I wrote before, since last Monday evening (14.04.2025), the performance of our Glasfaser dropped from over 600 Mbp/s to under 400 kbit/s.
The service chap was here last Thursday (16.04.2025) and could not solve the problem, escalating it to a higher level.
On Saturday (18.04.2025) I again spoke to the hotline and was told that the error was still being processed and that if by Tuesday (22.04.2025) there was no solution, I was entitled to a "Fast Start Router" to receive internet over LTE until the problem was solved. I should go to any Telekom shop, show them the ticket number and would be given a this router.
On Tuesday (22.04.2025) I was first at a Telekom shop where I was told that they had no routers in stock and then at a 2nd Telekom shop where I was told that they were not allowed to give out the Fast Start routers to Glasfaser customers and that the hotline had to send it directly to me.
I then spoke to the hotline again and was told that was incorrect. However, the hotline was also not allowed to send me a router because the Glasfaser connection is technically still delivering internet - 400 kbit/s - even if it is not fast enough to use for anything.
It's not all bad news though, the hotline offered my a €20 Gutschein for my troubles!
Still waiting for a solution, using my handy as a hotspot, trying to upload gigabytes of data for a work project.
