Lilium (located in the Munich area) filed for insolvency
Lilium (located near Munich) filed for Insolvency.
As there are ~ 1000 Employees, I hope that nobody on this forum is affected.
There are quite some changes in the German job market; Automotive industry struggling, AI taking over jobs, translators getting unemployed due to DEEPL and so on.
Anyone wishes to comment?

Lilium found an investor last minute and employees will return to their jobs. Some good news just before X-Mas.

Oh, well. First of all, only some fired employees were hired by the new company, and those employees didn't get their wages for january. Tough shit.Franklan wrote: ↑Tue Dec 24, 2024 1:09 pmHappy dances around ~1000 christmas trees in the Munich area!LukeSkywalker wrote: ↑Tue Dec 24, 2024 12:58 pm Lilium found an investor last minute and employees will return to their jobs. Translation by Deepl: "The Bavarian air cab manufacturer Lilium is still in a difficult financial situation. Although a consortium of investors took over the company from insolvency at the end of December, there are still considerable problems in implementing the rescue measures. Hundreds of employees are still waiting for their salary payments for the month of January due to a lack of funds in the company accounts."
