City registration and resident permit

Post by Gayathry »

I recently moved to Bremen from another city, I provided my certified marriage certificate for the City registration.Unfortunately, the officers can not accept the marriage certificate translation done in Sri Lanka and attested by the justice ministry of Sri Lanka.i was asked to bring a translation done in Germany. But, ally collueges get the work done with the translation certificate they brought from their country .. also it is difficult to find a translator who can translate my marriage certificate which is in my native language...Can anyone help me to find a solution??

I'm guessing the German translation wasn't done in Germany then. I googled and there are a lot of offical translators in Bremen.
