Berlin airport closed. Diverted to Dresden

So there I was , flying from Manchester to Berlin, when the captain said that Berlin airport was closed, due to drone sightings and that we were diverting to Dresden. We accepted this without much fuss. These things happen. While on the tarmac at Dresden, the captain said initially that we would have to fly back to Machester due to logistical reasons! E.g. there were no airport staff at Dresden to unload our baggage.
But then we got the news that Berlin airport had reopened and was breaking its night time curfew to allow us and other flights to land . We eventually got to Berlin at about 23.15
I must praise the EasyJet cabin staff who kept us fully informed all the way thru. They got a loud round of applause when they said their farewells.
One passanger became disruptive during all this and had to be removed from the plane. There was another passanger whose final destination was Dresden. He asked if he could be put off, but got nowhere.
How frustrating.

First time I ever heard anyone praise EasyJet.
