Quick question for parents who've moved countries with kids: how do you keep track of vaccinations across different national schedules?
I'm Dutch, my wife is German, we lived in the UK for many years before moving to Germany, and we had two kids along the way. Every time we moved, the vaccination situation was a headache. The NHS Red Book, the German Impfausweis - all paper based, none of the systems talk to each other, and keeping track of what was given where, on which schedule, was genuinely stressful.
Curious whether others have this problem and what you do about it currently?
I couldn't find an app that handled this properly, so I built one. VaxFile lets you log your children's vaccinations and tracks which schedule applies - currently supporting the Dutch RIVM, UK NHS, German STIKO, and Spanish schedules. Each entry records where the vaccine was given and when, so you always have the full picture no matter which country you're in.
It's free to download (premium features available for families who want more). iOS and Android. If you're in a similar situation - multiple countries, multiple kids, multiple schedules - I'd love to know whether it's useful and what would make it better.

This is a plug for your product, right? And you are new to the site as well which sort of makes me feel uncomfortable.
Personally I did not find it stressful and a had no difficulties with this but then again I am not a person that feels you need gazillions of apps to manage my life. I took our medical records to the pediatrician and GP and had them updated for a German Impfpass which suits me fine. Besides I am a bit wary to share medical information and personal information (data protection really kicks in for that type of information) with some random app. Besides different countries have slightly different recommendations, so I would trust the pediatrician or GP to be most clued up on current recommendations rather than a random app. Your mmv of course.
