Re: Gardening

That little voice in the back of my mind keeps telling me to set some trip-wires, but I guess that might have some kind of legal consequence - unfortunately!

Re: Gardening

No, we are not on that map, thank goodness!
I think we´ll start small and get a lock fitted on the garden gate!

Re: Gardening

Need some advice on this one please! Our house runs parallel to the road, with the carpentry workshop door at one end, and the house door at the other. The workshop door is the first one you reach as you come onto the property. At the other end of the house, about 3 meters from the house door, and t...

Re: Whats up in the South?

We are on our way back home to Konstanz after 2 weeks at the Bauernhof in Bayern and we just stopped at Cafe Huttner at Inning am Ammersee. Doesn’t @Robinson100 or another of you live near or on that lake? Inning seems very nice although I wish we had had time to actually see the lake. We decided t...

Exactly!
But also, the insurances that we have looked at so far include items such as electricity costs whilst panels are being replaced, etc

Actually, I have just been looking on Verivox, and I could get insurance for €56/year, which is not bad, IMO....

Re: My Photovoltaikanlage

Thanks for your input - we have a quote for 64 panels, and the battery - yes Alberto, 30KWH, in total costing 40K. During the day, we plan to be running the carpentry workshop from this, with various machines and stuff, and then, of course the living quarters..... heating, lighting, etc. The buildin...

Re: My Photovoltaikanlage

I have a question for those with a PV Anlage - what about insurance? We have received a quote to have PV installed, plus a 30KW Battery. The PV would consist of 64 panels. I am now starting to look into how to insure the whole thing, and bearing in mind that a few years back there was a case in Garm...

Re: eBay issue - advice please

A stupid situation, but I guess I would just refund the money and tell the guy to let you know if the goods eventually do turn up.
Whilst there are a few "dodgy" characters on Ebay, it most certainly isn´t all of them, and you might just get lucky.

I used to enjoy watching "The Good Life", but The Two Ronnies were also good.
Four Candles is a classic!

Personally, I would wait, but since you have already used a lawyer, why not ask him/her?

Happy today because shorty´s car got a new TÜV!!!!! The car was actually purchased in 2019 by and for my boyfriends Father, at a price of less than €1000, and only intended for him to use to get to the local pub and back ( a round trip of less than 1 km!)
