But also, the insurances that we have looked at so far include items such as electricity costs whilst panels are being replaced, etc

Actually, I have just been looking on Verivox, and I could get insurance for €56/year, which is not bad, IMO....

Thanks for your input - we have a quote for 64 panels, and the battery - yes Alberto, 30KWH, in total costing 40K. During the day, we plan to be running the carpentry workshop from this, with various machines and stuff, and then, of course the living quarters..... heating, lighting, etc. The buildin...

A stupid situation, but I guess I would just refund the money and tell the guy to let you know if the goods eventually do turn up.
Whilst there are a few "dodgy" characters on Ebay, it most certainly isn´t all of them, and you might just get lucky.
