Re: Can British citizens travel to the UK using a non-British passport?
The sailing trip comment above got me wondering. What if you are a brit without a UK passport on a cruise ship visiting the UK? Do they refuse you (and possibly others onboard) to go on land?
That'll go down well.

Re: Stock market investments
PS.. It's all App based . They are recognised as a bank and you have Anlage Sicherung until 100k as with a normal bank.
Deposits over 20k get split.. usually between Deutsche Bank and a Blackrock fund

Re: Stock market investments
Trade Republic currently pays 2% interest on cash deposits. It may vary according to the ECB rate ( they pass that on to the customer ) So, if the ECB rate rises to say 3% you get 3% and vice versa if it falls. Having said that, customer relations suck. I've been with them since around 4.5% and have...

Re: Can British citizens travel to the UK using a non-British passport?
N If the worst comes to the worst, i can show them my pension payments from the DWP in my banking app :D I think, this are two completely different things though, passport is linked to citizenship. The UK state pension is not linked to that at all, you can draw this without being a UK passport hold...

Re: Can British citizens travel to the UK using a non-British passport?
No longer have my expired UK passport and my birth certificate is practically unreadable. I'll just take my chances .Edit: Don't remember seeing a question on the ETA about dual nationality back in March 2025. If the worst comes to the worst, i can show them my pension payments from the DWP in my ba...

I'll be going again ( or trying to ) in the next 10 weeks or so and will report back how it went. ( Haven't had a UK passport since 2017 or so ) I'll be damned if I'll renew my UK passport just...
