Re: Can British citizens travel to the UK using a non-British passport?

This will have been an airline requirement, though if she had a residence permit, she should have been allowed to fly on even an almost expiring passport. But this had nothing to do with the US government. She wasn't allowed to fly without getting the new passport and New Orleans was the only place...

Re: Can British citizens travel to the UK using a non-British passport?

Yes, my American friend who lives here got stopped at the airport in Florida last year and wasn't allowed to fly home because her U.S. passport was going to expire in a few months. She had to fly to New Orleans to get an emergency passport. That wasn't cheap or convenient. Mind you, that was leaving...

Looks lovely, Frantic. What a beautiful plate.

Can you tell me what fennel sausages are called at Aldi, please? I'd like to get some for my next lasagne.

Re: Obituaries

If a doctor orders one, it is covered no matter what age. Some people don't mind just self-paying for things like that. I paid for my mammograms before I was "old enough". Good thing I did.

If there was no weapon, one must wonder why the witnesses didn't intervene if they were able-bodied.

Re: dual US and German SIMS

How much does it cost to use your T-Mobile number to call the U.S. from here? Just curious. My sim doesn't work from here but it is a temporary sim.

I call the U.S. with Whatsapp or with VOIP on my home phone which is connected to our internet.

There is a good chance that not only men show up with weird things in their orifices.

Probably the same people who shoved peas and things up their noses when they were babies. They should do a study. :D
