TRUMP: “As it now turns out, FBI Agents were at, and in, the January 6th Protest, probably acting as Agitators and Insurrectionists, but certainly not as ‘Law Enforcement Officials.’” THE FACTS: This is false. The alleged FBI documents to which Trump is referring state on page 46 that 274 agents fro...

Re: Problems in Supermarkets in Germany
Similar experience in Singapore many years ago. When we were looking at flats, the realtor showed me where my maid could sleep on the top shelf in the pantry in a couple of the places. I was shocked. We got a place where she had her own private room and bath. I treated her like a friend and she was....

Nextar is doing it to score a big deal - "Nexstar is currently trying to close a $6.2 billion deal to acquire its rival Tegna, which would require a green light from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the US broadcasting regulator." In order to do that, they must please Trump's m...

I'm going to guess that "engaging the card reader" takes about 1/10 of a second. Don't they just push a button? It's not like they have to dig it out from under something and plug it in and boot it up.

Re: Problems in Supermarkets in Germany
Side note - why is everyone in such a manic hurry?? That drives me crazy. I see retired people like me rushing around like crazy and trying to carve 20 seconds off of everything. I let rushing people go in front of me almost every time I shop. Not just the ones with a couple of items. The ones that ...

Nobody seems to mind. Except when my change purse doesn't close properly and all of my coins go rolling around. ...
