Welcome to the loony bin, JohnW.

Try a search for S1 insurance. It has been discussed but I don't know if your answer is there.

I never mind when titles are changed for more clarity on the subject matter. Even my own. :D

I hope you aren't taking it personally, Spidey.

Re: What made you smile today? :)

But he meant Vorschule (which doesn't exist in Konstanz) I would think, not Kindergarten as we know it here. In the US kindergarten is Grade 0 and it's located in the grade school. In my day where I grew up it was only a half day and not compulsory. What Germans call Kindergarten is commonly referr...

Yes. That makes perfect sense if you watch a lot of youtube. I basically only use it for music. Just wanted to say that you must not subscribe to get some TV. Enjoy!!

In my universe, friends don't ask friends to help them move after the age of 35.

Re: Removal company suggestions

No suggestion other than getting more estimates. The last time we moved years ago, we took the first one in the yellow pages. Remember those? I think it was called AAA or something like that. Anyway, it was just an across town move but 85 meters worth of stuff and furniture. I think we paid 1,200 DM...

Re: Ryanair goes totally digital. No paper bording passes.

Ryanair have stated that one of the reasons for these changes is to speed boarding up. Yet my own observations do not bear this out. I am a frequent flyer and I have never seen a printed boarding pass cause a delay at the boarding gate. The same cannot be said of smart phones. While most passangers...

Re: Ryanair goes totally digital. No paper bording passes.

I don't watch on my phone and don't have/want/need a firestick but thanks. The problem is that PGA coverage has become crap on all of my usual sources including Peacock (dropped Golf Channel) and ESPN+ which had very little coverage the last couple of years. I got on several channels all over the wo...

Good farms are getting fewer and fewer. Norway used to be good. No more. I stopped buying salmon about a year ago. Used to grill a piece weekly.

Even if you keep up, things can still get very complicated. Himself worked for about 4 hours to get my email functioning again, for example. It had been down for 5 days - Outlook (Hotmail). I can manage most things but I'm not a techy. I've been chatting with support on a website I subscribe to in o...

I did a quick scroll through their English television channels but didn't see any of the UK stuff that Piggy mentioned. Perhaps I missed it.

(Your link didn't work for me so I just typed in the website and voila!)

Re: Ryanair goes totally digital. No paper bording passes.

I've been shopping here for over 35 years and always pay with cash. I seldom use self check out but if I only have a couple of items and the lines are long, I use it when one of the machines accepts cash. Where do you shop with self checkout and get accused of stealing? I never saw that happen. Just...
