Wow , having read all the posts above I am very glad that I have deided to use a UK accountant to sort out my tax position. It will cost me 200 quid, but it is money well spent. Just reading the above posts makes my head swim.

Leon G is correct. I recently got a letter from BVG which explained why I had to pay a small admin charge.

So I went back to the customer center and got it sorted. They will take a double payment on 2nd May. Plus a smal admin charge of about 7 euros.

Thanks for the reply. I too think they might take a double payment at the beginning of May. But I will go to the customer service shop again, just to be really sure.
