The only time some tenants of mine paid in advance was because they were from Hong Kong - when everyone was escaping - and probably would have had difficulty passing the financial checks. You need to call HMRC and tell them which years you want to make the payments for. They will then make a note on your file so it gets correctly assigned once you have transferred the money.

Not an absolute necessity, but I wouldn't choose to be without one. They are great for re-heating things, cooking stuff that makes a mess in a pot, e.g. porridge, and for defrosting things when you forget to take them out the freezer in time (as I frequently do). They think it will appeal to the grey voters who the Tories are very much in danger of losing. Likewise with the plan for no tax on pensions. Honest answer, not sure I really have. Sprachtalent is not something I was at the front of the queue for.
