How many offers have you got till now ?
Prices can vary according to the Land where you live. That offers is overpriced even for Greater Munich Area.

I guess I updated the other thread already weeks ago but yes, they accepted him (and his wife). He is paying the minimum (not for him) contribution, around 200 euro per month

Not EU Citizen with 5y residence permit, pension from home, working in Germany
Hi, I try hoping anyone here is or knows someone in the same situation. My father in Law comes from an extra EU country. In his country he is retired and get around 500 euro/month of pension in local currency. For this reason he is in the no tax area for low income earners in Germany. He got a resid...

Re: "Putzhilfe" - How to hire them right and Tax deductions
In the meanwhile I gathered further info which should answer my above questions. I think she will need to register as Gewerbe a thing she will never do. I was convincing my self to propose her a minijob but then another doubt pop up. The fact she has already a main job does automatically put her out...

Re: "Putzhilfe" - How to hire them right and Tax deductions
Hi Sorry if I may repeat myself but I want to be sure. As a "customer" is my responsibility to check just if in the invoice there's a Steuernummer but I don't have to check if it's real or if it is or not really related to the activity of cleaning service, right? Or maybe she can use the S...

Re: "Putzhilfe" - How to hire them right and Tax deductions
I resume the thread, after an year we found a candidate..... I still did not talk in person with her, just my wife who said she was keen to whatever form of payment (minijob, invoicing, etc). I dont think she know what would mean for her Invoicing us. She is doing this as a side job, she has already...

Apart the usual suspects ( Big Bang Theory, The Office - usa version, Monk) I found really entertaining the ones below: - Superstore - Brooklin 99 - Ghosts - the usa version - Modern Family - Community (but it take a while till it grows on you) - Young Sheldon ( although the gran finale is extremely...

Re: Additional dental insurance - do you have it?

How many offers you got ? I am asking because when I did the same one year ago the offers were ranging from 14k to 27k euro :D , for the same kind of work  It was a Wild West, with some companies still frozen in (their) golden time where they could ask numbers to customer. My suggestion is to k...

Re: New (recalculated) land tax
So my Grundsteuer sensibly decreased. Thanks oh great free state of Bavaria ! On the other hand I got a +50% increase in water fees. They explained it in a nice letter I received, talking about the age of the fresh water and waste water net, the need to mantain or in some case renovate it,...

Re: New (recalculated) land tax
I did some research after I received my Grundsteuermessbetrag days ago. It looks like that in Bayern, conscious of the crazy values for properties, they decided to recalculate the Grundsteuermessbetrag in a different way in order to not have crazy increase of Grunsteuer. It is all just based on the ...

Hi Panda I am interested to know why you consider smartsteuer inferior to buhl. Since I am in Germany I use smartsteuer because it was free for employee of Haufe. Few years ago I wanted to have a look to other alternatives and buhl I guess was one of this but I remember at the end I found smartsteue...

Re: Private vs Public Health Insurance
Unfortunately our concerns about difference of service provided between Private and Public got confirmed in these days. We were looking for two different specialist and for public insured patient the waiting time is 2 or three months in the best cases (most of them can'T provide any appointment). An...

Re: Family reunification with EU nationals through son in law
Update. So it was like i thought and read. Today we were at the immigration office for submitting the application and the lady told that they have to stay in Germany (neither in EU, just Germany) 6 months plus 1 days in one year otherwise the permit will be revoked. First thought of my wife was &quo...

Re: Family reunification with EU nationals through son in law
We already call tkk and they told us they can take them and sent us the papers to fill. The main doubt is about this 6 months. I believe it's 6 months total in a year. My (stubborn) wife keep believing that it's just they don't have to stay out of Germany 6 months in a row because the lady at the Au...
